There are 4 sections of crossed fenced areas for the dogs to exercise. 3
acres, !/2 acre, 1/4 acre, and 1/8 acres. Visiting bitches are allowed only
in the two smaller areas on a daily basis one at a time and only when we
are present to watch them.

not only young pups to stay out of

the pups ....those visiting girls that
like to see what's going on inside
the house can get a little more one
on one attention and still have some

The dog room is divided into three sections. The kitchen grooming area, the bathroom and a
dog area that contains 4 x 4 and 4 x 6 sections for the sleeping quarters of all dogs on the
property. NO DOG IS LEFT outside when the sun goes down in any area. They are safe and
sound in their individual beds or if you wish in their crate. Our dog room is in use most of the
day as we brush every dog daily either by hand or animal blower.
We will feed your girl on any schedule you like. We feed Pro Plan and show stopper to all our
dogs. In the event your dog has special food needs you will need to bring it with her.

Vet that can do Vet checks for out of the US shipping of animals. For Frozen
sperm we use ICSB in the Portland, Oregon Area.
Medford, Oregon airport is our airport of choice. It is 30 mins away and is served
by Delta/Skywest and Alaska/Horizon. We can also pick up Portland but there will
be an extra charge of $40.00 as it is 4 1/2 hours each way.

additional kennels to our Barn. But for now

Granite Gables guarantees that the above stated bitch will be bred to the above
stated dog.
Granite Gables requires a negative Brucellosis test in the event your dog is
scheduled for a natural breeding. This is NOT required with an AI breeding.
All bitches will be bred by AI, unless otherwise stated. Ovulation tests will be
performed while at Granite Gables only if bitch owner wishes at bitch owner's
expense to pin point optimal breeding time. Bitch will be bred on alternate days
while in standing heat with a minimum of two times.
All incoming bitches will have in home or veterinary clinic slides ran to look at
heat progression at no cost. When available our vet will do the first AI and slide
and sperm count on the first day of breeding at NO cost. All other AI will be in
house.
The bitch owner has the choice of: A, B, C or D
A) A non refundable breeding service of $200.00 will be due at time of breeding.
This amount will be deducted from the balance due when litter registration is
signed. Payment in full must be made prior to the stud owner signing of the litter
registration. If no puppies result from this mating, no balance or repeat breeding
will be due. Two puppies or more constitute a litter and the full remaining balance
would be due after two weeks of age.
Or B) Pay the full stud fee amount up front and have a guarantee of at least 2 live
puppies to 2 weeks of age. If no puppies result from this breeding, a one time
repeat breeding will be given at no cost to any approved dog owned, co-owned or
leased by bitch owner. If only 1 puppy results from this mating and the bitch owner
wishes to bring us another bitch for breeding at a later time; a breeding fee of
$200.00 will constitute full stud fee for the next incoming bitch. Signing of the litter
registration will be at 2 weeks of age when paid in full,
Or C) In lieu of the stud fee, the owner of the stud may elect if agreed upon in
advance to receive a 2nd pick puppy from the resulting litter. This is not a
guaranty choice and is only offered to bitches that are showing in conformation
and/or championed or pointed. The selection of puppy will be made at 8 weeks by
the stud owner. No breeding fee will be due, unless only one puppy results from
this mating. If only one puppy is the result, the litter owner has the option of
paying a $250 breeding fee and keeping the puppy. All puppies back will carry the
Granite Gables Kennel Name Only. The litter registration will be signed when any
and all pups are in the possession of the stud owner.
Or D) Chilled and Frozen Sperm is now available on Dallas. Chilled is available on
Patch and Marco. All of the above terms still apply. Bitch owner will make
arrangements with and pay direct to ICSB for all shipping and costs involved with
the shipment of frozen sperm once the stud fee contract is agreed to and stud fee is
paid. ICSB is located in Sandy, Oregon 503 663 7031. ICSB will not release any
sperm without written permission from stud owner.
The stud dog owner guarantees that, the stud portion of an official AKC litter
registration form will be filled out, signed and handed to owner of bitch upon
receipt of the full stud fee, or if option B) when litter is born.
Bitch owner guarantees that all puppies of the resultant litter deemed "pet" quality
will be sold on a spay/neuter contract and their AKC papers marked "Limited
Registration".
Bitch owner/leasee guarantees that no puppies from the resultant litter will be sold
to pet shops or other wholesale outlets.
The bitch shall not be bred by any other dog then listed above....Any bitch bred
after or before coming to Granite Gables to another dog either by choice or by
accident will be given, at the bitches owners expense, a DNA test on both the bitch
the sires ,if not already done, and each live pup to determine the sire of each
puppy. In the event this happens all repeat breeding will no longer apply and no
refund will be given on any portion of the stud fee and all stud fee will be paid with
two live puppies regardless of the sire.

Permission to have treatment for your Bitch: Granite Gables makes every effort to
insure the safety and well being of your bitch while she is in our care. In the event
of any unexpected illness or emergency the bitches owner gives Granite Gables
permission to have owners bitch treatment done at a local veterinary clinic at the
bitches owners expense and will hold Granite Gables harmless. Granite Gables
will make every effort to contact the owner prior to any treatment.
Additional Boarding Fee: There are no boarding fees when a bitch is in heat. If a
bitch for some reason has gone out of season and the owner can not make
arrangements for transportation there will be a boarding fee of $5.00 per day.
Medford, Oregon is the nearest Airport for Shipments. Delta/Skywest and
Horizon/Alaska are the main airlines which will transport in and out of major
cities. Horizon/Alaska books flight 30 days out and has NO temperature control
restrictions. Delta/Skywest books 24 hours prior to flight (only) and has a has heat
restrictions of 10 to 85 degrees. All return flights must be prepaid. When a bitch is
left for breeding the return fare must be paid in advance for her transport back.
I agree that in the event I wish to use a photo of the sire listed on this contract for
my site or any other advertising either with the dam or on any pups resulting from
this breeding, I will place the owners name of the sire and a link to the sire's page
on her website once I have gotten written permission from the stud owner.
All parties agree if legal action is taken to enforce any or part of this contract the
prevailing party will be entitled to all court costs and all attorney fees.
Granite Gables reserves the right to refuse any bitch for any reason.
