On (date) Granite Gables, seller agrees to sell the following Shetland Sheepdog to
the above buyer under the following terms and conditions.

Purchase price
The described dog is guaranteed to be free of any health or temperament irregularities
for the first 72 hours. It is recommended that the buyer have the dog examined by a
licensed vet during this time period. In the event the buyer does not seek a vet during
this time no refund or exchange of dog will be provided to you, should the dog become
ill.
Granite Gable dogs are tested at the appropriate age for hips, thyroid/vwd/eyes. It is
recommended that each pup also be tested at the appropriate age. This animal is guaranteed to be
free of genetic defects that would render the animal unsuitable to show or breed until 2 years of
age. As many things come into play as the pups grow Show/breeding puppies are pups that show
potential at 8 to 12 weeks of becoming show quality dogs based on information available at that time.
It is not a guaranty that the pup will become show quality as an adult. It is the buyers responsibility to
educate themselves on the bred standard prior to purchase if they are making a purchase to
show/breed.
Showing of the dog: This is a show potential pup and the pup must be shown in at least 11 AKC
shows. In the event the pup should point during this time the buyer agrees to continue showing the
dog until it receives it's AKC Championship. This may include the buyer to pay a handler to show the
dog to a finish. As some pups do not mature early for showing it is not required this pup be shown
until it is ready which may be up to the age of 3.
REPLACEMENT: There is No replacement policy on any pup that meets the AKC standard other than
health as stated in this contract. The seller reserves the right to obtain a second opinion or
additional tests at the sellers expense for any illness or defects. If replacement is necessary, the
buyer shall be entitled to a replacement of similar quality when one becomes available. If a
replacement of higher quality is desired, the buyer shall pay the difference from the purchase price
and the price of the replacement dog/puppy. Replacement will be of SAME SEX only unless otherwise
agreed in this contract. Granite Gables has NO refund policy only a replacement policy. All shipping
is at the buyers expense.
FIRST RIGHT OF REFUSAL: Seller shall have the first option to purchase this dog back
in the event the new owners decides to offer this dog for sale at any time during the life
of the dog. The purchase back price will not exceed the original purchase price. There is no
guaranty that seller will purchase this puppy back only a right to do so.
NAMING OF DOG: All puppies purchased shall be registered with the Granite Gables
kennel name in front of it's registered name unless agreed upon in writing. Buyer may
choose the name with the discretion of the seller.
All Guarantees are void if there are signs of neglect or abuse on the part of the buyer or
If the buyer breeds this dog.
Buyer guarantees to Seller he/she is not part of a pet store, puppy mill , buying this dog
for resale and will provide the above dog with the highest standard of care.
In the event buyer wishes to use a photo of the sire or dam of this pup on a website and/or for
advertising the buyer shall place a link to the sellers page where the dog is listed or list the owners
name of the sire or dam.

I agree that in the event I wish to use a photo of the sire listed on this contract for
my site or any other advertising either with the dam or on any pups, I will place
the owners name of the sire and a link to the sire's page on her website once I have
gotten permission.
Any disputes related to this contract shall be settled in the county where the seller lives. The
prevailing party will be entitled to all court and attorney fees

BUYER/SELLERS NEEDS.
THE ABOVE CONTRACT IS FOR PUPS UNDER 6 MONTHS AND ANY
ADULT OR POINTED DOG WILL HAVE THIS CONTRACT MODIFIED TO
THE TERMS AGREED BY BUYER/SELLER.
